So, this was a first. And, by far, one of the most incredible and emotional experiences of my career.

This sweet mama reached out to me a few short months ago asking if I did Labor & Delivery photos. I told her I had some experience with in-hospital imagery, but never had I done birthing photos. Of course, I told her I'd be more than happy to do them, but I had to give her the disclaimer. lol.

She decided to trust me, and I am beyond happy and grateful she did!

She called me in the afternoon to tell me baby was about to make his appearance so, I rushed to the hospital to try and be there to capture every moment.

It was a longgg day to say the least, but worth every second! Mama was such a trooper and her family was nothing but supportive.

Being able to witness and freeze such a special moment for this family to hold onto is what makes my job so rewarding. So thankful for these opportunities and for all the amazing people I get to meet along the way! <3
